Is Laser Tooth Whitening Right For You?
A healthy, bright smile is something people from all walks of life aspire to have. A dentist can provide you a laser whitening treatment which can be very expensive for you. One of the most popular methods of laser whitening is called LaserSmile. LaserSmile uses a gel which bleaches your teeth with hydrogen peroxide. What makes this treatment so effective is the combination of the gel and the laser which is used to activate and accelerate the whitening action. With this type of treatment, each tooth is only exposed to the laser for very short periods of time. The entire procedure takes only around 30 minutes and results in dramatically whiter teeth.
A special whitening light in conjunction with hydrogen peroxide gel is used in various other dental treatments in which laser is not utilized. One such treatment is the popular Zoom whitening treatment. Zoom uses a special light that works in much the same way as a laser treatment. The light accelerates the whitening gel and offers dramatic results, bleaching teeth up to eight shades whiter in only around 45 minutes. Yet another dentist applied treatment that uses a special light and whitening gel is the Rembrandt Sapphire treatment. One of these whitening treatments takes around 90 minutes from start to finish, a bit longer than the others mentioned here but just as effective. Several people choose to get whitening into their own hands because of laser tooth whitening can be quite costly. If you'd like to try whitening your teeth on your own before turning to an expensive laser or light treatment, there are certainly many products from which you can choose.
